Auto Focus Binoculars

The first thing I’m going to say about auto focus binoculars is that they are actually called fixed focus binoculars.  The binoculars do not actually change its focus automatically for you while you are doing your favorite outdoor activity, such as bird watching.  Basically, these binoculars are pre-set at the factory to 15m to infinity.  One important things about these is that they are to be used with a deep field of view.  Another thing is that all you people out there that wear glasses, don’t be misinformed, you still need to keep your glasses on while using these binoculars, taking them off will just make matters worse, so keep that in mind.

Auto focus binoculars are not for everyone, it all depends what you are going to be using them for.  If you use them mostly for far away viewing, and rarely any up close viewing, then these may just be for.  If you use binoculars for mostly just up close or not so distant viewing, then you might want to look into standard manual focus binoculars as the auto focus ones will not only serve you any advantages, but will most likely give you a disadvantage by not being to adjust them when viewing closer objects.  This can be a big problem if you view a lot of things up close or mid-range.  They will basically become useless to you and end up costing you money for no reason at all.

I hope I have given you some useful information on these types of binoculars and will help you in your decision making process.  Another thing about them is that the auto focus feature is best suited for lower magnification binoculars, such as in the range of 7x magnification.  Well, I hope I have provided you with some good information on these binoculars and have helped make your decision about purchasing them much easier and less stressful.
